Susan Conner-Steeb - Central Coast Metro Director
Susan Conner-Steeb

Susan started with Cleantech Open in 2010 helping create a budget for the Los Angeles metro. Her role has grown to include accounting, finance and budgeting for CTO’s headquarters and acting as a finance specialist mentor. In 2017 Susan took on creating the Central Coast Metro.

She has over 20 years of financial and operations experience in music, entertainment and mobile technology with small, medium and large companies. Susan is the founder and principal of Segue Consulting Services, providing interim CFO or finance and operations management for early stage or growth companies. She began her career as an accountant for Ernst and Young in Los Angeles and holds a BA in accounting from California State University Northridge. She also enjoys flying her Bonanza, hiking and traveling to new places.

Anne-Lise Laurain - Bay Area Major Metro Director
Anne-Lise Laurain

French engineer in Hydraulics and Fluid Mechanics with a Masters of Science in Sustainable Energy Futures from Imperial College London. Anne-Lise completed a 2-year graduate program at Asea Brown Boveri (ABB, Ltd.) that allowed her to work and live all over the world: a wind initiative in Denmark, technology ventures in Zurich, and energy efficiency in Texas. As she wanted to move to California, she completed an MBA while working for a start-up, Power Assure, that developed energy efficiency solutions for Data Centers. In 2014 she joined Cleantech Open as a Metro Ambassador and is now in charge of the Bay Area. She currently works at PG&E as a Senior Business Analyst in the Data Analytics and Governance team. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoors activities and traveling.

Norman Su - South Bay Metro Co-Director
Norman Su

Norman helps to maintain and develop relationships with cleantech entrepreneurs and partners in the South Bay. He is a PhD candidate in  Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at UC Berkeley where he researched development of new materials to increase the efficiency of carbon capture processes. A materials reserach engineer at Align Technologies in San Jose, Norman has been actively involved in clean energy technologies and programs over the past several years, including the Solar Decathlon, BERC, and Cleantech to Market. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.
