Thomas Rosenberg

Mr. Rosenberg has over 15 years’ experience blending science and applied technology, policy and business, leadership and change management expertise to create innovative solutions in the U.S., Europe and Latin America. He advises clients how to capture greater value from their environmental initiatives by improving collaboration to drive innovation. Mr. Rosenberg has directed client engagements that delivered strategic and technical services including product life cycle assessment, corporate sustainability and carbon strategy, and regulatory assessments. He has managed client relationships, supervised the US office of an advisory firm, and developed projects in developing countries.

A lifelong entrepreneur, Ron Flavin is passionate about helping startups develop and implement growth and funding strategies that enable them to achieve their most ambitious goals. He has launched successful startups around the globe and over the last ten years, he has helped his clients to secure well over $200 million in funding. His experience and success extend across multiple industries. He attributes his cross-industry success to his strong ability to build strong business models, skilled teams and key strategic partnerships.

He also understands what drives funding decisions and has led or been part of decision-making teams that have awarded more than $1 billion in funding over the last five years. Ron has a keen understanding of the global business landscape and has worked around the globe including Germany, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, South America and Asia. As a subject matter expert, he has appeared in the New York Times, on CNN International and other local and national media outlets. He is committed to supporting startup entrepreneurs around the globe, volunteering his time mentoring others through the Cleantech Open, Pacific Community Ventures, the Duke Startup Challenge and Bridge to Billions.
