Despite recent advances in robotics and autonomy, data collection in aquatic environments is still being performed with unsophisticated means, usually requiring teams of people and boats. Today, mobile robotics has the potential to make data collection in these environments more efficient, more economical, safer, and more thorough. Brooklyn Aquatic Robotics develops small-scale autonomous boats to solve this problem, and allow clients to collect more data with fewer people and resources.
