Nelumbo has developed OMNIPHOBE, the worlds most water and oil repellent coating. Additionally, this material is effectively programmable. All existing technology in the hydrophobic space is based on standard polymer chemistries with low control, limiting the application range. Our coating may be tuned for specific properties, allowing access to more markets than existing technology - one of which is air conditioning, where we can increase efficiency by 25% and reduce maintenance by up to 50%.
