We place containerized anaerobic digesters at food service locations to turn food waste into renewable natural gas and fertilizer. These businesses pay us a monthly service fee that is similar to, or less than the value of the gas and garbage costs the system offsets. The service agreement includes operating, monitoring and maintaining the systems at a fixed price for 20 years. Essentially, we aim to do for distributed anaerobic digestion what SunEdison did for distributed solar twelve years ago. Everflux will pick up the effluent the digesters produce, process that into an all-natural fertilizer product, and distribute it to retail locations, creating a second value stream for the company.
